Final info graphic poster. Logo design

Yeah so I got really into this so no process pictures really.

infogrphic 3 draft 1

The black background will murder whichever printer I use if I print this. However, I thought it looks good as Einstein’s theory of relativity has a lot to do with space and it means that the light in the info graphic can be white, which is the colour of light. I also thought the colours would stand out more on a black background. I’m also unsure weather or not I should put stars on the background so it looks like the stars in space, milky way style? The flare is to symbolise the speed of light, I learnt how to make one when I experimented with illustrator.

Again all information is from Google sources.

this idea stems form the original info graphic with the circles and the colour. I also thought it’d look a bit solar system ish.

below are a few examples of logo design

logo simple science

The first attempt was too messy so I tried to clear it up but found I need to set my brush to a thinner line to get a neater look. I used the crayon style as it looks like the type of thing children would like as they use crayons and stuff. And it makes it clear that its aimed at children.

Second attempt at an info graphic and illustrator hate

infographic 2 draft 1

Its a PDF because I hate illustrator and its also ridiculously lengthy.

This info graphic was meant to resemble a graph, and be more accurate in length and size than the previous info graphic. However, I tried to make it more interesting than just lines and created a silhouette mess of images and lines. The idea again was good in my head but not practical.

After this disaster I tried to practise in illustrator a bit and learnt about art boards and some cool stuff in the effects library. I also invested in a draw pad because Its got to be easier to draw my own stuff than go over things with the pen tool every time I want something. I found the flare tool to be quite helpful as it looks like a beam of light.

First drafts – oh god

infographic design project 2

The above is my first attempt at an info graphic. I tried to keep it simple as my audience is children. However, it looks too simple, basic and plain for me to be happy with it. So, I’m going to make another info graphic that will be nicer to look at.

all information on here was founded through Google.

web design attempt 1

this is my first attempt at web design. It is horrible. It looked good in my head but on paper, no. So yeah I’m going to scrap the whole idea of this type of web design. it would be suitable for windows or Microsoft, but not for a science website aimed at children.

Info graphics and web design 1

So I have to make an info graphic on something to do with Einstein s theory of relativity. I don’t understand it so my target audience will definitely be for children and will be on something simple like the speed of light.

I did some research into info graphics and sort of understand it – you have to show the information in a way that uses minimal text and maximum visuals. A bit like graphs in my opinion but more creative.

For the mobile site I’m considering doing a game for children with some simple information on the theory of relativity or the branch of it I go down.

The desktop site will be quite basic but I’ll try to have some nice visuals and my info graphic on it.
